Toma in Grease - Audio clips and pamphlet scans

One of the highlights of my recent trip to Japan was the chance to see Toma live on stage in Grease!

It was the stage version of the show so it doesn't include a lot of the most famous songs that people know from the movie, but it was still a fun and entertaining evening.

Toma just lights up the stage and it was hard to look anywhere but at him when he was there, even if he wasn't front and centre. Greased Lightning was a real highlight thanks to some great choreography and tightly rehearsed dancing. Have to admit that through most of Summer Nights though my brain kept sending up flares ... "look it's Toma! It's Toma!"

It was quite a parade of Johnnys ... we saw Tsubasa as well. So many things just lined up at the right time!

At the moment, though very busy - work, study etc. Decided to get this updated to distract me, and now that my computer is pretty much back on its feet.

sigh - how I'd love to see Koyama but unless I with the lottery it ain't gonna happen. Even though most of our trip was paid in advance the crashing value of our dollar still really blew out the trip costs. So I need to knuckle down and fill up my piggybank and pay off my credit card before I even think about another trip - and hope that my pennies will be worth more.

We went from 105 yen for our dollar a few months ago, down to about 60 yen today. Ouch!
