Welcome / Welcome Back
There are a few things I feel I need to say regarding the scans that I share on this journal.
Up until now all my posts have been public and open with no restrictions or rules.
( However ... )
I know it’s been a while but I’m starting to clear the backlog of official photos that I have on hand. It has been a very difficult time over the two years for all of us in so many ways and one of those is the fact that even today, there is still no mail service from Japan to Australia.
International courier prices are outrageous so it took some time to find a workable option. I am very grateful to a friend who braved the frustrating bureaucracy of a certain black cat service to get a package onto a plane. Though even then, they recorded the destination as Austria rather than Australia and there was a nervous wait to see where the box would land.
Anyway, this is the first batch of photos - the KoyaShige sets from the Top Gun/Love Story single.

NEWS Magazines - January 2020
Mar. 10th, 2022 09:49 am I know it’s been a while, and I have to admit I hadn’t realised just how long, but I’m finally back with another batch of scans.
Like everyone this year has been a very difficult one for me. My mother passed away suddenly in January and things just haven’t really recovered. But I am pressing on. If you’ve been following
koyama-daily or koyashigedake you’ll know that I’ve been trying to keep up with videos but my scanning has suffered.
But I still plan on working through the pile of things I have on hand from magazines, to official photos, to concert goods. And hopefully I will soon have a bit more time to put into those activities.
I also wanted to let everyone know that recent changes to NEWS won’t impact on what I have on hand to scan. We’ve been through so many changes to the group over the years and each period is unique and special in its own way. So I will still be posting what I have on hand featuring NEWS as a four member group.
So sharing here a batch of magazine scans from the start of 2020. And once again thanks to Ria for the raws.

NEWS Magazines - October 2019
Mar. 10th, 2022 08:45 am I’m back with another round of scans and a few announcements of sorts.
Firstly, I’d like to give a big thank you to Ria who has kindly volunteered her assistance. My ability to access magazines is not as good as it has been in the past so she is providing the raw scans for editing of the most recent mags. And it is thanks to her that this batch of scans are posted. I’d like to thank her again for the time and effort it took to determine the best scan settings and for wrangling those huge magazine pages that are too large for an A4 scanner.
I still have a backlog of magazines and photos on hand to be scanned and I will continue to work through those, around the new scans that I now have on hand to edit. I still believe that having a place like livejournal where content remains available and accessible days and weeks after it is posted is an important resource for fans and it is why I’ve stuck with livejournal even though it’s fallen out of favour with many.
In this post are recent issues of QLAP, TV Guide plus, TV LIFE, TV LIFE Premium and TVnavi SMILE.

Magazines - Catch Up - mid 2018

I haven't disappeared down a black hole, and I haven't given up my goal of getting caught up with all the photos, magazines etc that I have on hand. Life has just been a bit challenging for a while and the future is still quite uncertain. But there's still plenty of lovely NEWS to brighten the day.
Anyway, these are a group of magazines from the middle of 2018. Better late than never.

I still haven't made a lot of headway on the magazine backlog but I'm not giving up. But NEWS has had such a busy year and it's not over yet!
