I know there's little need for me to go back over the events of the past few days in detail but I did want to say a few words. These developments have hit us all hard and the level of hurt, anger, tears, betrayal, concern, confusion, disappointment, relief or misery is going to be different for every one of us. Some fans will be too broken to go on and I can only wish them well, hope they smile again soon and they will be missed. Others may need to take some timeout. Some may find closure and relief that there is an end to the limbo and are revitalized with the prospect of new NEWS.
It's been extra tough being a NEWS fan over the past year, and 2011 will be a year that gave us so little, but took so much from us. We're a tough and loyal bunch, and NEWS needs our support now as much as ever. We still need to send our message that we want to see them all together singing, performing, and even in magazines as a group.
So for myself, I'm throwing my support behind new NEWS. And I will continue to scan photos and NEWS pages from magazines and post them to this journal. However, for the immediate future that means scanning magazines still featuring 6 members until we see a change. So I guess I just wanted to give people a heads up that I do plan to post the latest issues of Duet, Potato and Winkup - which ironically hit stores last Friday.
Part of the timing of Friday's announcement may have been to give the next issues of the magazines time to adjust their copy. We'll see in about two weeks. However since the two departed members have regularly been photographed by themselves it will not be a major adjustment for these magazines, who have also tried to respond to fan requests to see NEWS as a group.
We still have no guarantee of what the future will bring, and even though it was not the answer we were most looking for, we do now have one for the uncertainty and limbo of the past year. And we have a new NEWS, a NEWS whose members have pledged to give us their best. Here's to all of us moving forward!

Thank you for all the hard work until now! And I truly hope that the new NEWS will be even closer to each other so we'll get to see them again as a real group!
Btw, Keii-chan almost made me cry with his message in News Every!
