A moments silence ...

to say goodby to my scanner.

After many years of hard work and many, many scans - too many to count but in the thousands - an unfortunate encounter with a devious cup of coffee has required it to be retired to the Old Scanners Home.

I'm a little sad as we've spent many hours together, wrestled over posters and magazines and photos. Not irreplaceable, but sad to have to find a replacement.

I honestly started crying while reading this. :C

I feel sorry for you and your dear scanner. But don't worry, his journey starts now. May he find his own place in heaven!
