Popolo & Myojo August 2010

Another month, another round of magazines.

These are the August issues of Myojo and Popolo.

And no thanks to Popolo this month for making a 2 page spread on a background of blue and white squares that don't actually line up. Definitely a bugger to do - right up there with the poster of NEWS in hats as being one of the most frustrating things I've done!

The other Popolo spread also got me thinking ... as much as different fans do focus on NEWS as they present them - Yamapi, TegoMasu, KoyaShige and Ryo - we do still want them back as one group, one word - NEWS! Let's hope we have some soon!

I may be wrong.. but doesn't it kinda look like Yamapi's photoshopped into that Popolo one? tsktsk! xD

also I love how kei and I pretty much wear the same clothes... now which one of us does that say something about? ;D

They're all photoshopped into that Popolo one. Yes, KoyaShige and TegoMasu may have been there at the same time as each other, but that whole spread of the six of them is six individual photos laid over each other. But that's just like it is in most magazines they've done for a long, long time. NEWS just don't get photographed together as a group anymore either.

I don't know when they were all together for a photoshoot for the big 5 main mags ... much photoshopping going on for NEWS ... but one of the signs I'd like to see is NEWS actually together for their monthly photoshoots. That would be a start heading back in the right direction.

Yeah that's what I thought at first.. but then I got confused when I saw them in pairs later.
I'd really like to see that too! Or a public appearance, or something, you know? Hopefully they'll get back on it soon.
