Another round of magazine scans ... Duet, Potato and WinkUp. Lots of pages this month on various things, including all those wonderful TomaPi pages.

This was definitely a challenge. Good thing I like hats! XD

the secret to posters I think is to scan them big and scan plenty of overlap between the sections. Laying pieces on top of each other is easier than doing the spread pages where you actually have to create the bits that are missing.

But that's also why the hats poster was so tough because there were lots of straight lines to line up and no matter what I try I just can't scan things perfectly straight ... so I think I ended up doing about 7 pieces to try and get a clean image of each of their heads.

Gotta love a challenge. And I'll definitely have a go. I got some old clippings myself recently and there are some Koyama spreads that I want to try putting together as well - when time allows.

So definitely send the poster pieces my way and I'll see what I can do.

I think their (now) regular photoshoots together is supposed to distract us from the fact that they never get to actually "work" together in a drama or anything like that. And maybe to keep them happy as well, cos I'm sure they want the same thing.

thanks ... I guess I can confess that I just do the kind of scans that I'd like to have XD My original goal was just to do the posters so we could see them as a whole, but as you can see ... I wasn't able to stop there.

I download the others too cos I can't wait to see what's in the mags ... and then I just start to anticipate when I can scan them for myself.

when the size of the page is bigger than A4 because that's all my scanner fits - I have to scan the page/poster in pieces and then join them together. It's not just posters but larger magazines like Popolo, Seventeen and others.

And there are so many TomaPI which makes me wonder about the truth abotu rumoured drama of PI and Jin. WHich... No Jin for me................. Toma is nicer. XD
