January Mags - Duet, Potato, WinkUp, Seventeen

Another round of the monthly magazines ... Duet, Potato, WinkUp and Seventeen. This includes the poster from Potato and the Soukon pages from NEWS no NEWS in Seventeen, which I hadn't seen before.

The Potato poster is a little disappointing ... not only because we're still waiting for something with all 6 members in one place together, but since the point of it seems to to promote Soukon, it would have been nice to get at least the 4 of them together for a shoot and a poster.

We've had plenty of posters in the past for just one, two or three people from a stage or tv show, why are we still getting such mixed messages when it comes to NEWS? I know, just look at the pretty pictures ... right?

I have read that entry ... but I don't know what there is in to be reassured about. There's still no new group single, no concerts ... (Kat-tun and Kanjani will both have had 2 separate tours since the last NEWS one). Ryo trying to understand it, acknowledging that fans are sad, trying to pass solo work off as group activity, or saying he called Shige on the phone doesn't change anything. I'm afraid I don't see what it is that he said that is cause for celebration.

PS I'm in that part of the world where Christmas is summer ... a cool breeze would be much appreciated. XD

And I've read your comments in daelite's LJ entry and feel for/with you. It's hard to stay in the fandom of something so uncertain and which feels like it could disappear at any time. But hang in there. I somehow get the feeling that the boys aren't all that happy about the lack of group activity, either.
