Sharing a few more scans from the November issues of Potato and Winkup..


These two issues had large News posters both promoting the release of Happy Birthday.

I've scanned them at two sizes because I know some people prefer larger images.

I scanned it as large as I could because it's really only a fairly small pic (about 9cm across).

Let me give a plug for Canon - I've just got your basic A4 flatbed scanner, though I had to hunt around for something that wasn't a multi-function machine cos a dedicated scanner does have better resolution. The problem with doing posters, though, is that they're too big for the scanner, so you have to do them in parts and join them together (and I hate creases, so I hope it's not obvious where the folds were).

Yeah, I have a multi-function one and the dpi isn't that high... they make some now with a high dpi but that'll cost you a bit. T_T

I know what you mean about creases! I bought a NEWS poster and it just got to me yesterday and I was thinking, I wonder if i should scan it but the creases will have to be dealt with and yeah... i don't have the patience. lol. Yours aren't noticiable at all, you did a good job on them! thank you!
