Thanks for sharing these. or congrats on your purchase! >_< you mentioned something above about having to get tickets to go into the Johnny's shop. How does that work?

The shops aren't very big and it doesn't take much for it to get so crowded you can hardly move. So on busy days (and I guess whenever new photosets come in) they have a system of trying to control the flow of traffic through the shop.

It opens at 10am but at 9am they start handing out tickets to allocate what time you need to queue up to be let into the store in groups. A friend of mine reported that she knew of someone who travelled a long way to go to the Osaka store but when she got there (in the morning) they turned her away saying they'd already given out all the tickets for the day.

So if you're ever planning on going to the shop, the earlier you can get there the better unless you have plenty of time to have a couple of goes at it. Once in the past we arrived about midday and were given tickets to come back at 6pm. You just need to be prepared that that might be the situation. Crazy isn't it?
